First solar panels Jaarbeurs P4 installed in pilot area Utrecht Central Station

This week the first solar panels were installed on Jaarbeurs P4. This is the start of a new phase for the Smart Solar Charging pilot area Utrecht Central Station.

SSC is a sustainable energy system at district level. Locally produced solar energy is stored in (pool) cars via Vehicle2Grid technology: a smart and dynamic quick load- and storage system. Utrecht Central Station area is one of five linked pilot areas of SSC and is a high density urban district with a mix of living, working, recreation and passers-by.
